FAIRPORT, N.Y. — The Bradford Blizzard 12U hockey team won all four of its games at the 2017 Wishbone Classic this weekend.
On Friday, the Blizzard opened with a 6-0 victory over the Perinton Blades Toscano team. Scoring for Bradford were Dale Tim (two goals), Max Matheson, Brendan Confer, Colin Coneely, and Liam Haven. Gabe Wyant earned the shutout in goal.
The Blizzard topped Perinton Blades Stauffer 4-0 on Saturday, with another shutout from Wyant.
Finding the back of the net in this contest were Tim, Matheson, Confer, and Haven.
On Sunday, the Blizzard cruised to a 9-0 win over the Livingston Blues to advance to the title game.
Conneely netted a hat trick and an assist, while Confer finished with five points on two goals and three assists. Also adding goals for Bradford were Matheson, Patrick Heffern, Haven, and Tim. Wyant once again earned the shutout in goal.
Bradford went on to win the championship game 8-1 over Perinton Blades Toscano.
Both Confer and Matheson finished with two goals and an assist, while Conneely, Tim, Heffern, and Haven all added a goal apiece.
Gabriel Redeye-Desposito was named the title game MVP for Bradford.
Bradford is now 10-0 for the season.
