SMETHPORT — The Smethport Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Light Up the Night event in Smethport on Nov. 25.
The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the lighting of the tree on Main Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for the countdown along with Mayor Wayne Foltz. The crowd will then move on to St. Elizabeth’s Church for refreshments and visits with Santa.
Residents of Smethport are encouraged to light Christmas trees for the evening.
