A Bradford man was arraigned Thursday afternoon for allegedly taking items from a South Avenue residence in July.
Jared McAndrew, 20, of 44 Sanford St., is charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property, first-degree misdemeanors.
According to court records, a South Avenue resident reported to police that someone had broken into his house and taken items while his family was on vacation. Two video games and about $250 was taken. The homeowner said his daughter had been told McAndrew and two others were the ones responsible, the records alleged.
McAndrew was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Rich Luther and released on $20,000 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court Nov. 30.
