SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The Ray Evans Seneca Theater and the CCLAA are gearing up for their first set of auditions for their 2018 season.
This season’s shows include “Pippin,” “Swingtime Canteen” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
Auditions for “Pippin” will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ray Evans Seneca Theater, 10 Main St.
Attendees are asked to come prepared with 16 bars of a song of their choice. Those auditioning for a specific character are asked to prepare another song by said character. An accompanist will be provided, or a cappella auditions will be accepted.
Attendees should come prepared in comfortable clothing, as there will be a dance audition as well.
Auditions will also be held for speciality acts for those who do not wish to sing, dance or act, officials said. Examples include Hula hoops performers, jugglers or any other kind of circus-themed trick.
