Several seats were uncontested in Tuesday’s general election.
All four district judges in McKean County ran uncontested — Dominic Cercone, Rich Luther, Bill Todd and David Engman.
Running unopposed for McKean County row offices were Daniel J. Woods as sheriff; Laura L. Isadore as prothonotary and clerk of courts; Mary Jo Sherwood as treasurer; and Jody Bloomquist for county controller. All of the candidates are Republicans.
For Lewis Run, borough council incumbents Joseph L. Cucuzza, James L. Coldren and Timothy M. Myers, all Republicans, were unopposed for three seats. Republican Vincent Montecalvo was unopposed for mayor.
Elaine Bodistow was uncontested for a six-year term as a Wetmore Township supervisor. For Sergeant Township, Sandra L. Walker was unopposed for a six-year term as a supervisor and Daniel Wichensky was unopposed for a two-year term.
Brent W. Leet was unopposed for a six-year supervisor’s position in Norwich Township, as was Christopher P. Claycomb for Otto Township supervisor.
Other individuals unopposed for supervisor roles for six years include Doug Covert for Keating Township; John G. Knox, Lafayette Township; Richard Dick Brown, Liberty Township; Timothy R. Moyer, Eldred Township; Rebecca Davidson, Hamilton Township; Donald L. Compton, Hamlin Township; Jeffery Moyer, Ceres Township; and Brian P. Causer, Annin Township.
