SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison for an assault.
Timothy A. Reedus-Gilyard, 24, will serve two to four years in state prison with credit for 22 days of time served for a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. Gilyard pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to allegations that on Dec. 18, 2016, he conspired with three other people to assault a man, kicking his body and head. He — along with his co-defendants — will pay a total of $54.31 in restitution for candy at Country Fair convenience store in Bradford that had to be thrown away because it had blood on it, according to President Judge John Pavlock.
Richard C. Anderson, 22, of Mount Jewett, pleaded guilty to a charge of strangulation. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Oct. 4, Anderson pushed a woman to the ground, put his hand on her neck and squeezed, leaving red marks. He will be sentenced Nov. 16.
Calvin Teeter III, 20, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill said that on Sept. 7, Teeter struck a man repeatedly outside the Downbeat Restaurant in Bradford. He will be sentenced Nov. 16.
Ronald L. Jordan Jr., 49, of Kane, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Alfred E. Caraffa Jr., 46, of Bradford, will serve one to two months in McKean County Jail with credit for 57 days of time served and six months of probation for a charge of defiant trespassing. Caraffa pleaded guilty on Oct. 26 to allegations that on Sept. 7, he was on Bradford Area School District property, despite already receiving notification from the superintendent and Bradford City Police that he was not to be there.
David A. Cabisca, 22, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault. He pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to allegations that on July 20, he was arguing with his sister, and he threw a glass that hit the wall, then hit her in the head.
Devon A. Pulido, 26, of Kane, will serve one year of probation and pay $228 in restitution for a charge of defiant trespassing and a summary charge. He pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to allegations that on July 1, he entered a house at 595 W. Washington St., Bradford, and caused $491.59 in damage to a television and a vehicle door handle.
Jamie L. Glen, 28, of Eldred, will serve six months of probation for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Devon J. Zilcoski of Johnsonburg will serve six months of probation for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge.
