RIDGWAY — Ben Hoffman of Elk Catholic and Danielle Perry of Northern Potter earned individual District 9 Class A cross country titles on Saturday.
Hoffman paced the boys with a time of 16:46. He was followed by Darian Gregory (Smethport, 16:50), Isaac Wortman (Elk Catholic, 16:55), Christian Tanner (Smethport, 17:12), and Nicolas Heredero (Ridgway, 17:17).
Perry’s time of 19:47 was good enough to lead the girls by nearly a full minute. Rounding out the top five were Chelsea Hunt (Elk Catholic, 20:43), Amanda Ford (Northern Potter, 20:57), Rosey Thomas (Port Allegany, 21:19), and Rebecca Morgan (Northern Potter, 21:21).
Elk Catholic took home the boys team title with 27 points, while the Cranberry girls came out on top with 28 points.
