LOCAL TWEET: Jeff Rhinehart from Eldred dropped a line after seeing a local radio personality mentioned in a national news story.
Jeff explained, “I was reading a Yahoo article about Sarah Huckabee Sanders flip-flopping about the Washington Post content. She didn’t like the Post before she liked the Post!!
“They were showing Tweets from across the country and I believe a Tweet came from Bradford’s own Anne Sweeney Holliday. I saw her Twitter handle was ANNESBU and it said PA.”

“Cool that a local is on a national Yahoo feed,” Jeff said. “By the way, good for her on her response to Sanders!!”
BIKE LOOPS: A scenic motorcycle ride down U.S. Route 6 seems like a great way to spend a warm afternoon.
The PA Route 6 Alliance agrees.
The organization announced Wednesday the release of the 2018 Take the High Road Motorcycle Map, which “features five loop tours using the scenic highway as the main road to exploring other roadways along the northern tier of Pennsylvania.”
People can find printed maps at local visitors centers and motorcycle shops or by contacting the alliance office at 814-435-7706 or paroute6@verizon.net.
The alliance said detailed itineraries of the loops can also be found at www.paroute6.com/motorcycles.
Why is it such a great route?
“This magical and tranquil highway along Pennsylvania’s northern tier is 400-plus miles of history and heritage, linking small towns, generations of people and wondrous sights often forgotten,” a press release from the alliance explains. “One of the best ways to explore Route 6 is by motorcycle.”
The alliance noted that Route 6 was named “One of America’s Most Scenic Drives” by National Geographic and the “#1 Motorcycle Road in the Northeast” by motorcycleroads.com.
