SMETHPORT — A Buffalo, N.Y., man accused of delivering crack cocaine was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison.
Antwain O. Jackson, 41, will serve 27 to 54 months — 2 ¼ to 4 ½ years — in state prison with credit for 122 days of time served for charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. Jackson pleaded guilty Sept. 14 to allegations that on June 20, during an investigation by the McKean County Drug Task Force, he conspired with Jennifer Campbell and Samuel Jackson to deliver about 1 gram of crack cocaine, and he also possessed with the intent to deliver 16 grams of crack cocaine.
Also in court, Shawn M. Pire, 46, of Smethport, pleaded guilty to one charge of unsworn falsification. He will be sentenced Thursday. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on Jan. 5, Pire was meeting with state police as part of his sex offender registration requirements under Megan’s Law, and he promised that he would notify police of any online accounts knowing it was not true.
Jacob J. Bailey, 21, of Kane, will serve six to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail and pay $12,200 in restitution for a charge of conspiracy to commit burglary. On Oct. 12, Bailey pleaded guilty to allegations that between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 in 2016, he conspired with Levi Haberberger to commit burglary at four locations: Appalachian Power, DAngelo’s Custom Built, Eastman’s This & That and Meyers Motorsports.
Jesse M. Walker, 42, of Albion, will serve one to five years in state prison for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge.
Robert L. Albney, 52, of Rixford, will serve six to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 104 days of time served for a charge of simple assault.
Zachary S. Johnston, 30, of Eldred, was sentenced to two days to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for one day of time served for charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. On Sept. 14, Johnston pleaded guilty to allegations that on June 13 in Eldred Township, he intentionally drove his vehicle into another vehicle, pushing the second vehicle into a mobile home, forced his way into a house and punched a man.
Curtis D. Howard, 28, of Bradford, was sentenced to three to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 104 days of time served and pay $1,407.81 in restitution for charges of forgery and theft by deception. Howard pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to allegations that from June 2 to 5, he wrote out a check from a closed account that was in his father’s name for $1,347.81 to Little Power Shop to obtain auto parts and labor.
Jamie D. Reedus-Gilyard, 25, of Buffalo, N.Y., will serve 134 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 134 days of time served for charges of simple assault.
Kylie J. McLaughlin, 22, of Bradford, will serve six days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for one day of time served for a charge of simple assault. She entered a guilty plea Sept. 14 to allegations that on June 3, she kicked a man in the head once after he had already been knocked to the ground by another person.
Kenneth R.F. Bell, 21, of Bradford, will serve three to 11 ½ months in McKean County Jail, with a one-year term of probation to be served concurrent to — or at the same time as — the jail term for charges in two cases. He’s charged in one case with simple assault and in the second case with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
John R. Blauser, 61, of Port Allegany, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Adelbert W. Thompson Jr., 46, of Port Allegany, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Patrick A. Shaw, 23, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of theft from a motor vehicle.
Michael J. Bennett, 25, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault.
Alexandra C.R. Farnsworth, 25, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of receiving stolen property.
Laura S. Zandy, 39, of Erie, will serve one year of probation for a charge of retail theft and a summary charge.
