A Bradford woman is in McKean County Jail for allegedly causing back-to-back disturbances at locations in the city on Thursday.
Bobby Jo Reid, 35, of 24 W. Corydon St., is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on Thursday, City of Bradford Police responded to Summer Street for a disturbance involving two females. One of the females was Reid, police allege. She was given a warning to leave the area and not return.
Later on that day, police responded to a physical fight at Bradford library. When police arrived, Reid was yelling and screaming, and police learned she had been fighting with another female there, court records stated.
A few hours later, officers responded to Country Fair for a fight. Again, it was Reid involved in a fight with a male and a female, police allege. Officers stopped Reid walking down the street, and learned she had outstanding warrants as well, according to court records.
She was placed into police custody, and officers noticed she was trying to remove something from her clothing in the area of her chest. When she was removed from the police car at the station, officers saw a half of a strip of Suboxone and cigarettes that she had been trying to hide, court records stated.
Reid was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Oct. 26.
