Bradford City Police are investigating the death of an infant on Tuesday.
Police Chief Chris Lucco said officers responded to Bradford Regional Medical Center, where the infant had been taken.
“We are investigating fully,” the chief said, but added there were “no obvious signs of any criminal action.”
He said an autopsy was performed on the infant Wednesday by Erie County Medical Examiner Dr. Eric Vey.
“We’re awaiting full medical and toxicology results,” Lucco said. He referred further questions to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer.
Shaffer declined comment.
