A Bolivar, N.Y., man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly kicking in the door of a residence, running inside with a chainsaw and stabbing a man in the foot.
Mark Deido Sisson, 44, of 7844 Route 417, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Bill Todd on charges of burglary, a first-degree felony; aggravated assault, a second-degree felony; terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and criminal mischief, a summary.
According to court records, on Feb. 27, at 191 Champlin Hill Road, Shinglehouse, Sisson and Katrina Hess, 34, also of Bolivar, kicked in the door to gain entry.
Once inside, “Sisson chased (the victim) through the residence with a running chainsaw into a bedroom,” court records read.
Sisson allegedly threatened to kill the victim, punched him in the face several times with a closed fist, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the foot, court records allege.
Hess allegedly kept the homeowner and her daughter away from Sisson and the victim, so they couldn’t help him.
Hess is charged with burglary, a first-degree felony. A preliminary hearing in her case was held Oct. 9. The charge was bound to court. She remains jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Sisson was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court Oct. 26.
