SMETHPORT — Charges in two criminal cases against a Bradford man accused of helping a teen boy who ran away have been dropped.
Both cases against David R. Kelsey, 45, were scheduled for a back-up trial Wednesday in McKean County Court. He was charged in one case with interference with the custody of a child and a summary charge, and in the second case with concealment of the whereabouts of a child, according to court records.
Court records show that the Commonwealth filed a motion this week indicating they wished not to pursue the charges, and Senior Judge William Morgan granted the motion.
