How much do you know about Bradford City?
Residents are invited to test their Bradford history knowledge this weekend — and compare their knowledge to that of other Bradfordians — at the Downtown Bradford History Hunt.
The adventure will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday.
“The scavenger hunt is the first of its kind,” said Chelsea Schwab, Main Street manager.
Sign up for the challenge from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is when registration will take place in Veterans Square. The hunt is open to people of all ages, Schwab indicated.
“This free event is geared toward families and people who have some knowledge of Bradford history,” she said. “All clues and locations will be based on Bradford history and local trivia.”
Play alone or put together a team of up to four people. Participants should bring their walking shoes and be ready to explore historic Bradford.
“The hunt will be restricted to the Downtown Historic District and will require a fair bit of walking,” said Schwab.
The top three winners will be awarded prizes, according to Schwab.
For anyone who can’t wait until the weekend to check out Bradford’s downtown, a Fall Ladies’ Night will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. this Thursday. Downtown shops and restaurants will offer in-store sales and activities to visitors.
