SMETHPORT — A Bradford man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County to his part in a Kane area burglary spree.
Jacob J. Bailey, 21, of Kane, entered the plea to one charge of conspiracy to commit burglary. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 in 2016, Bailey conspired with Levi Haberberger to commit burglary at four locations: Appalachian Power, DAngelo’s Custom Built, Eastman’s This & That and Meyers Motorsports; the total of damage caused plus the value of items taken is $12,209. He will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Also in court, Timothy A. Reedus-Gilyard, 24, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. On Dec. 18, 2016, Gilyard conspired with three other people to assault a man, kicking his body and head, Shaffer said. He will be sentenced Nov. 2.
Curtis D. Howard, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of forgery and theft by unlawful taking. From June 2-5, Howard wrote out a check from a closed account that was in his father’s name for $1,347.81 to Little Power Shop to obtain auto parts and labor, Shaffer explained. He will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Jacob G. Winship, 27, pleaded guilty to three counts of retail theft. He will serve 74 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 74 days of time served and pay $824.30 in restitution. According to Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill, on March 19, April 2 and April 7, Winship stole items worth a total of $824.30, including three amplifiers, a set of Bluetooth headphones, a Bluetooth speaker and three radios.
Devon A. Pulido, 26, of Kane, pleaded guilty to a charge of defiant trespassing and a summary charge. Shaffer said that on July 1, Pulido entered a house at 595 W. Washington St., Bradford and caused $491.59 in damage to a television and a vehicle door handle. He will be sentenced Nov. 2.
David A. Cabisca, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On July 20, Cabisca was arguing with his sister, and he threw a glass that hit the wall, then hit her in the head, explained Dennis Luttenauer, Cabisca’s attorney. Cabisca will be sentenced Nov. 2.
Zachary L. Wolf, 24, of Smethport, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He will serve six months of probation.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: David J. Carley, 24, of Kane, possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a weapon, defiant trespassing and driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance; Austin D. Gooch, 21, of Coudersport, driving under the influence of alcohol; and Katherine K. Mazza, 23, of Bradford, for furnishing liquor to a minor.
