SMETHPORT (EC) — The McKean County Fair Association will sponsor a consignment auction on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the fairgrounds in East Smethport.
Lloyd Burkhouse will be the auctioneer.
Anyone wishing to place items for sale on consignment should deliver them to the fairgrounds between today and Friday from 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
No clothing or small household goods will be accepted.
The fair association will receive a 20 percent commission on items sold for less than $1,000 and a ten percent commission on items selling for more than $1,000. There will be a $25 fee for reserve items which are not sold.
