A Bradford man was arrested Monday for allegations that he violated his registration requirements under Megan’s Law.
Michael J. Keller, 44, of 11 Leonard Ave., was arrested by Kane-based state police and placed in McKean County Jail by District Judge Richard Luther on $50,000 bail, police reported.
Keller is charged with two counts of failure to comply with registration requirements, both second-degree felonies, court records stated.
According to court records, Keller had a window of time from Aug. 6-15 to register with state police; however, he still had not registered by his arrest on Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law website, Keller was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault against a minor in 1992 in Illinois.
The Illinois Sex Offender Registry website indicates Keller was 17 years old at the time of the offense and the victim was 11 years old.
He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Oct. 19.
