Tryouts and sign-ups for the cast and crew of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” play are scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Family Life Center of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church.
The church is located at 44 Kennedy St. in Bradford.
Callbacks will be held Oct. 15, if needed. Casting will begin immediately after callbacks. Everyone will be notified as soon as possible. People who wish to help but not act, can fill out a form at either of the tryout sessions.
The play by Barbara Robinson is being co-directed by theater veterans Nanci Garris and Diane Kerner Arnett and will be performed in the sanctuary of Hill Memorial UMC at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1; 2 p.m. Dec. 2; and 2 p.m. Dec. 3.
There are speaking roles for eight boys and nine girls, ages 5 to 13; two adult males; and five adult females. Other children can be in the angel and baby angel choirs. Also, two firefighters are needed in one scene.
