A chili cook off is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at Open Arms Community Church at 1289 E. Main St. in Foster Township.
The event, hosted by local chef Jason Ransom and presented by Manlihood.com, a site that is operated by Josh Hatcher, will feature chili and cornbread with honey butter.
There is an admission fee for the event, except for those participating or judging. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded.
Proceeds will go to American Red Cross to support hurricane disaster relief.
