Bradford Area Public Library is starting an adult puzzles program.
The first meeting will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday. The program is free and open to the public.
This new program will be facilitated by Elaine Summerdale and Len Norville, library senior outreach coordinators. They and their dog “Sunshine” visit nursing homes and senior centers across McKean County to present their Books and Barks program. They also meet individual readers to provide them with large print books from an extensive collection. Summerdale is now initiating a puzzle program for the library. Each month there will be a different puzzle theme.
The theme of the first meeting will be metal puzzles. She will bring in various types of these disentanglement puzzles.
