Open Arms Community Church of Bradford will celebrate its 15th-year anniversary with special services this Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Services will include music, stories from founding members, stories from those whose lives have been changed, and a look at where the church is going in the years to come.
“When you look at the lives that have been touched and changed over the years, families that have been restored, addicts that have found sobriety, the broken and hurting that have found healing it has been nothing less than a work of God,” said Senior Pastor Mike McAvoy.
A Free Methodist Church, Open Arms was launched in October of 2002 at 1289 East Main St., about a mile north of Walmart in Foster Township, with the intention of being a different kind of church, a church for the unchurched, a come-as-you-are church.
