Open Arms Community Church is hosting a “See You at the Pole” rally at Veteran’s Square in Downtown Bradford at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The purpose of the rally is to gather around the flagpole to pray. A “See You at the Pole” event will be held at 7 a.m. Wednesday at schools across the nation.

Open Arms children’s ministry coordinator Zoe Hatcher explained, “”We want to try to promote See You at the Pole locally. It is a student-led event where they gather around their school flagpoles to pray before school.

“Students of all ages and backgrounds will be doing this at the same time, all over the nation, joining in prayer for their schools, communities, our leaders and nation,” she continued. “But it hasn’t really taken off in our area, so we wanted to have an opportunity to promote it the night before, tell students about the opportunity and empower them to lead this at all the schools in Bradford.”
