A Coudersport woman waived a preliminary hearing Monday on allegations relating to another person’s alleged overdose in July.
Dominique Rochelle Waterman, 25, of 136 Dutch Hill Road, is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia.
According to court records, at 12:05 a.m. July 11, police were dispatched to the Sheetz in Coudersport for an overdose. When police arrived, they administered Narcan to a man identified as Chase Russell Hill, 24, of Cyclone, who was not breathing in the backseat of a car. Hill was transported to Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police searched the car and found a beverage can containing used hypodermic needles and a pipe made of foil, along with residue of a white substance. Beverage caps containing suspected drug residue were found as well, court records read.
Police interviewed Hill at the hospital. He said he, Waterman, Matthew Jordan and Trisha Cole drove from Coudersport to Buffalo, N.Y., to buy crack and heroin. He said when they arrived in Buffalo, they bought drugs from Tyree Littlejohn, 23, of 168 Timon St., Buffalo.
Littlejohn joined them in the car and they began traveling back to Coudersport, stopping at a drug store for Hill to buy needles, which they used in the car to inject heroin, court records read.
The group returned to Waterman’s residence in Coudersport and continued using drugs, police said.
Cole told police the drugs were laced with fentanyl. She said Waterman bought the drugs from Littlejohn, and then provided them to Hill, who injected them and became unresponsive. She said she asked someone to call 9-1-1, but they were all afraid, so she and Jordan transported Hill to Sheetz, at which time Jordan fled the scene on foot, court records read.
Cole provided the officers with drug paraphernalia that was in the car, and told them more drugs were located in Waterman’s residence.
When interviewed, Waterman told police Littlejohn had provided the drugs to Hill — 20 baggies of heroin and an unknown amount of crack cocaine. She said she saw Littlejohn provide Hill with heroin at her residence, and then he became unresponsive. She said she and Cole administered CPR on him, but Littlejohn said he didn’t want the police to come.
Waterman waived her hearing before District Judge Annette Easton on Monday. She remains incarcerated in lieu of $35,000 bail.
Littlejohn is charged with possession with intent to deliver, a felony; possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors; and recklessly endangering another person, a second-degree misdemeanor. At a preliminary hearing Monday, all charges were bound over to Potter County Court. He remains incarcerated on $75,000 bail.
