CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is alerting area drivers to an upcoming road closure in Johnsonburg.
Domtar Paper will replace a boiler over the next few weeks, making use of a large crane for that work. Placement of the crane makes closure of a section of Glen Avenue necessary. The closed section will be between Legion Avenue and High Street, with work expected to last from Sept. 25 through Oct. 20. A detour will be in effect during that time.
As work progresses, the closure may be lifted from time to time during the month-long work schedule.
Message boards will be in place to alert drivers to the closure and detour.
