SMETHPORT — A Buffalo, N.Y., man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to drug delivery allegations.
Antwain O. Jackson, 41, entered the plea to charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on June 20, during an investigation by the McKean County Drug Task Force, Jackson conspired with Jennifer Campbell and Samuel Jackson to deliver about 1 gram of crack cocaine, and he also possessed with the intent to deliver 16 grams of crack cocaine. Antwain Jackson will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Samuel Jackson, 43, of Buffalo, and Campbell, 36, of Limestone, N.Y., each pleaded guilty Aug. 30 for their role in the incident; they will be sentenced Sept. 21.
Also in court, Zachary S. Johnston, 30, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. According to Shaffer, on June 13 in Eldred Township, Johnston intentionally drove his vehicle into another vehicle, pushing the second vehicle into a mobile home, forced his way into a house and punched a man. Johnston will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Kylie J. McLaughlin, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On June 3, McLaughlin kicked a man in the head once after he had already been knocked to the ground by another person, according to Shaffer. McLaughlin will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Laura S. Zandy, 39, of Erie, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft and a summary charge. Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill said that on May 5, Zandy took craft supplies from Walmart worth $14.20; Zandy was not allowed to be on the property at the time due to a previous retail theft. She will be sentenced Oct. 19.
Harry R. Little, 54, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a summary harassment charge. He will pay a $175 fine and court costs.
