The Main Street Movie House has announced the return of its fall Independent Film Series, to begin Sept. 18.
Films will begin at 5:30 p.m. every Monday through Nov. 13.
Movie-goers can learn about activities planned for each of the films from the Main Street Movie House’s Facebook page, where trailers and information on the films will also be posted. People can “Like” the page to receive updates on upcoming films.
Cost is $7 a ticket, or $63 for a season pass, which includes a free medium popcorn to eat at each show.
Films scheduled for this season are:
• Sept. 18, “Maudie,” PG-13, Run time: 1.55, starring Sally Hawkins, Ethan Hawke and Kari Matchett
• Sept. 25, “The Hero,” R, Run time: 1:33, starring Sam Elliott, Laura Prepon and Krysten Ritter
• Oct. 2, “Lady Macbeth,” R, Run time: 1:29, starring Florence Pugh, Cosmo Jarvis and Paul Hilton
• Oct. 9, “Baby Driver,” R, Run time: 1:52, starring Ansel Elgort, Jon Bernthal and Jon Hamm
• Oct. 16, “The Exception,” R, 1:47, starring Lily James, Jai Courtney and Christopher Plummer
• Oct. 23, “The Glass Castle,” PG-13, Run time: 2:07, starring Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson and Naomi Watts
• Oct. 30, “Get Out,” R, Run time: 1:44, starring Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams and Bradley Whitford
• Nov. 6, “The Beguiled,” R, Run time: 1:33, starring Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning
• Nov. 13, “The Big Sick,” R, Run time: 2:00, starring Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan and Holly Hunter
New this year, Beefeaters restaurant and A Slice of the 80s will have specials alongside the films. Right after the showing of each film in the series, Beefeaters will host a wine tasting and A Slice of the 80s will offer 50 percent off whole pizzas.
Vouchers for the two restaurant promotions will be distributed when people purchase their movie tickets.
