KANE — Logan Caruso, Tyler Kraft and Isaac Paterniti gave Bradford High a 1-2-3 finish in boys cross country action as the Owls downed both St. Marys and host Kane in the tri-meet.
Bradford High beat St. Marys, 15-50, and Kane, 17-46.
Caruso finished with the winning time of 17:44, while Kraft and Paterniti followed in 18:01 and 18:11, respectively.
After Kane’s John Wolfe finished fourth (18:23), four more Owls followed to round out the top eight: Andrew Kraft, David Allen, Gabe Mitchell, and Jordan Achar.
Also running for Bradford were Stephen Morgan, Quentin Minard, Drake Hayden, Billy Naglik, and Ethan Hollamby.
“Most of our guys came back pretty well from Saturday’s meet,” BHS coach Tom Tessena said. “The first couple of weeks are hard for them to run two meets with just two days rest in between. It’s especially hard on the younger guys and we have quite a few of them.”
The Owls will be in Bemus Point, N.Y., on Saturday.
