A Potter County man is facing allegations that he was screaming and making threats last week outside a former girlfriend’s Roulette home.
Dakota Eugene Hall, 22, who has addresses listed in both North Bingham and Coudersport, is charged with criminal attempt-burglary, a first-degree felony; terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; criminal mischief, a third-degree misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct and driving without a license, both summary charges, court records stated.
According to court records, at 9:56 p.m. Aug. 23, Sweden Township Police were called by a neighbor to 44 Maple St., Roulette, for a report of a domestic dispute.
There, Hall was allegedly banging on the door of the residence of a woman with whom he shares a child, “yelling and screaming loud enough to wake the neighbors” and trying to get inside the home, court records stated.
The woman was afraid because Hall allegedly assaulted her in the past and damaged her property, according to court records.
Hall threatened to harm the woman and her boyfriend and continued to yell even after he was asked to leave; he eventually drove away, but returned five to 10 minutes later and began yelling and threatening the pair again, court records indicated. Hall allegedly threw two large bags of potting soil on a vehicle at the residence, causing more than $500 in damage.
Hall was arraigned before District Judge Annette Easton and released on $5,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 8.
