ST. MARYS — The Bradford boys golf team improved its dual-meet record to 2-0 with a 219-227 victory over St. Marys on Tuesday at the Bavarian Hills Club.
Joey Frigo and Hunter Fox both shot their lowest scores as high school players, finishing with 41 and 42, respectively. Also netting points for the Owls were Joe Gorse (44), Brice Whelan (46), and Thomas Anderson (46).
“It was a good win,” Bradford coach Travis Faulkner said. “It was nice that Joey picked up medalist honors with his lowest high school score. Both he and Hunter Fox managed the course well.
“The rest of those guys are coming down with their scores as well.”
Jesse McKee (42), Ryan Bressler (43), and Nick Wendel (45) were the low shooters for St. Marys.
Bradford’s next match will take place at Kane on Thursday.
