The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball program will host the Blue and Gold game on Tuesday at the KOA Arena.
The intrasquad scrimmage will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will serve as the first chance for Panther fans to see the defending AMCC champions in action prior to their 2017 regular season.
“I love the idea of a Blue vs. Gold game,” said head coach Tom Roof. “It’s not only a great opportunity for us to scrimmage live in a game-like setting, but also a chance for the students and public to get a look at this year’s team.”
The event will be open to the public, and all members of the Pitt-Bradford community are welcome to attend.
Pitt-Bradford will begin the 2017 regular season at the Greyhound Premiere Invitational hosted by Moravian. The four-game showcase will be made up of a pair of doubleheaders on Sep. 1 and 2, the first match of the season against York (Pa.) at 4 p.m.
The first regular-season action at the KOA Arena will be Wednesday, Sept. 6, as the Panthers play host to Elmira at 7 p.m.
