RIDGWAY — An early morning fire Monday at a Fox Township home was ruled accidental.
According to state police fire marshal Trooper Russell Stewart, a fire broke out at 2 a.m. Monday at 114 Cherry Road due to an electrical issue.
There was no one home at the time of the blaze, and no one was injured, Stewart reported. The structure’s owner is listed as Ronald Wildfire, 58, of Kersey.
Damage to the residence is estimated at $14,000, and the homeowners did have insurance, Stewart said.
The fire marshal was assisted in the investigation by the Fox Township Fire Department.
