A Bradford man was arrested over the weekend for allegations he assaulted and threatened a woman.

Kyle Payne, 24, of 7 Charlotte Ave., Bradford, was arraigned early Sunday morning before District Judge Dominic Cercone on charges of strangulation, terroristic threats and harassment, court records stated.

According to court records, at 2:42 a.m. in the upstairs apartment of 7 Charlotte Ave., a woman returned to the apartment, where Payne grabbed her by the neck, pushed her into a chair and told her he was going to kill her.

Payne was released on $10,000 unsecured bail, and he is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
