A hearing has been scheduled for September for a Portville, N.Y., woman charged with delivering drugs in Bradford City on June 27.
Melissa Wilson, 27, of Portville, N.Y., was charged along with Larry “Minni” Jones, 39, of 8 Harlow Place, Buffalo, N.Y.
Between the two of them, they were found with approximately 0.5 grams of crack cocaine, 5 grams of heroin and 12 grams of cocaine, said District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer.
Additionally, “Approximately $1,700.00 in cash was seized,” said Shaffer.
According to court records, at 10:04 p.m. June 27, Wilson transported Jones to a location in Bradford City, where Jones allegedly sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant with the McKean County Drug Task Force in exchange for $100. The delivery was allegedly arranged using text/voice messaging.
When Wilson was searched after being taken into custody, police found about 12 grams of cocaine in her bra, and they discovered that she was in possession of 5 grams of heroin, court records stated.
Shaffer noted that the Bradford City Police Department assisted in the arrest.
Wilson is charged with two counts each of possession with intent to deliver — one for approximately 5 grams of heroin and the other for approximately 12 grams of cocaine — and possession of a controlled substance — one for approximately 5 grams heroin and the other for approximately 12 grams of cocaine, all felonies; and one count of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver approximately 0.5 grams of cocaine.
Wilson remains jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 13 before District Judge Dominic Cercone.
