A Bradford man has been arrested on sexual abuse allegations in New York state.
According to Bath, N.Y.-based state police, David Emerson, 61, of Bradford, is charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and acting in a manner likely to be injurious to a child.
The man arrested is not the same person as the Bradford Area School District guidance counselor with the same name.
A state police blotter states that the the allegations were reported July 10 in the Town of Hornellsville in Steuben County, N.Y., and that Emerson was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Sunday. Incident status is listed as pending–with evidence.
