SMETHPORT — A Mount Jewett man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations he was in possession of stolen property worth more than $9,000.
Levi T. Haberberger, 19, entered the guilty plea to a charge of receiving stolen property. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on June 6, Haberberger received stolen property valued at $9,488 that included 10 chainsaws, logging equipment, lights, a leaf blower, 112 chains for chainsaws, cake decorating equipment and more. He will be sentenced Aug. 10.
Michael A. Payne, 27, of Bradford, was sentenced to three to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 102 days of time served for charges of burglary and theft by unlawful taking. He pleaded guilty July 13 to allegations that between April 4-9, he entered the Farm Restaurant on East Main Street, Bradford, and took items including soda, sugar, foam cups, plastic silverware, tea, knives, a chopper, a knife sharpener, an extension cord and light bulbs.
Stefan J. Arlington, 29, of Bradford, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Bradley J. Locke, 43, of Bradford, was sentenced to 40 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 35 days of time served for a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He pleaded guilty July 13 to allegations that on June 15, he drove a 2016 Ford F-150 valued at $44,000 without permission from the owner.
Trevor S. Menteer, 38, of Ludlow, pleaded guilty to charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false reports and three summary charges. Shaffer said that on Jan. 22, Menteer reported to state police that he saw a vehicle that looked like his mother’s crashed on U.S. Route 6; he told them he had been drinking and had to get a ride to the scene, where he confessed he had been the one driving, despite his mother not wanting him to drive her vehicle. He will be sentenced Aug. 10.
Christopher D. Salonis, 41, of Bradford, was sentenced to 90 days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for 81 days of time served for charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zachary M. Koch, 18, of Bradford, will serve 30 days to one year in McKean County Jail for a charge of receiving stolen property.
Bretton B. Harris, 19, of Bradford, was sentenced for charges stemming from two separate cases. He will serve nine months of probation for a charge of possession of marijuana in one case and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in the other.
Jordan T. Ortz, 19, of Bradford, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, disorderly conduct and a summary charge.
Jesse J. Hall, 21, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge.
