A Bradford man is scheduled to appear in McKean County Central Court next week on theft-related charges.
Patrick Allen Shaw, 23, of Bushnell Street, is charged with receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle, first-degree misdemeanors.
According to court records, on Jan. 24, a man reported to police that two speakers and the housing for them were stolen from his van that was parked at a Seaward Avenue business. When interviewed by police, Shaw admitted he had taken the items, but had inadvertently broken them, so he burned them in the woods, court records read.
Shaw is free on $5,000 bail and is scheduled for Central Court on Thursday.
