The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will offer painting classes for young artists on Friday.
“Canvas and Cookies” will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in Art Room 406 of the Marilyn Horne Hall at 2 Main St., Bradford.
The class will be taught by Courtney Mealy. Participants ages 7 to 14 will get a chance to paint a project, take the project home the same day and eat cookies. Each class will have a different painting project. All supplies needed will be provided.
“The class is going to be a creative and fun evening for kids and parents alike,” Mealy said. The goal of the class, she said, is to introduce children to the arts.
The cost of each class is $25. For more information or to register, contact the Division of Continuing Education and Regional Development at (814)362-5078 or email continued@pitt.edu.
