COUDERSPORT — Coudersport-based state police are investigating a report that someone broke into a Sweden Township property and stole five firearms.
According to police, at 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, they were dispatched to a property on U.S. Route 6 for a burglary in progress.
An unknown person allegedly took a Ruger Blackhawk 44 magnum revolver, a Winchester Model 12 16 gauge shotgun, a Mosin Nagant 1943 rifle, a Buckwacka 50 cal. Inline muzzleloader and a Remington Model 788 243 cal. Bolt action rifle. The victim, whose name was not released, is a 75-year-old Annville man, police said.
