PORT ALLEGANY –– McKean County residents can drop off household hazardous waste during a collection event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Aug. 5 at the Port Allegany Borough Building at 45 W. Maple St.

There is a cost per pound that varies by item or material.

McKean County Conservation District, Port Allegany Borough and PA Cleanways of McKean County are holding the event.
