SAYRE — The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers has announced the 2017 scholarship recipients.
The Community Foundation currently administers funds that specifically provide scholarships to students in counties including Potter. Community Foundation Scholarships can be established by individual donors, corporations, and are often in honor or in memory of a loved one.
At the Northern Potter High School, the following scholarships were awarded: Jenna Buck and Mikylah Lathrop, $100, Tomb Family Scholarship; Erica Hanes and Tucker Kosa, $450, Ruth Agar Memorial Scholarship; Tory McCutcheon, $1,000, Northern Potter Scholarship; and Ellis Mae Sprow, $1,000, Darlene J. Sitler Memorial Scholarship, and $800, Rose Marie Tubbs Memorial Scholarship.
At Austin Area School District, Alyson Rotello, $1,000, Gerald F. Duffee Sr. Scholarship; and at Coudersport High School, Shania Nicole Soler, $1,000, Patrick W. Ryan Creative Writing & English Scholarship.
