A Bradford woman has been charged with identity theft for allegedly getting a credit card in another person’s name.
Brittany Lynn Skaggs, 25, of 20 Elm St., is charged with identity theft and receiving stolen property, both first-degree misdemeanors.
According to court records, between July 15 and Jan. 10, while the victim was in jail, Skaggs used his personal information to obtain a credit card and charged merchandise in the amount of $507.36 without the victim’s consent or knowledge.
She was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Dom Cercone and released on $600 unsecured bail. She is scheduled for Central Court on June 29.
