The law office of Stanley E. Pecora Jr. has announced the addition of attorney Marc W. Nuzzo as an associate.
Nuzzo is a Bradford native and 1988 graduate of St. Bernard’s School. Nuzzo attended the University of Pittsburgh main campus and graduated magna cum laude with a dual major in journalism and administration of justice in 1998.
During law school, Nuzzo clerked for federal district court judge The Hon. Gustave Diamond in the Western District of Pennsylvania and was later employed by the United States Attorneys Office in the same district. He earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2002 and was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Nuzzo is a veteran of the US. Air Force and U.S. Navy, where he served as an attorney in the Judge Advocate Generals’ Corps. After several tours overseas including a combat tour during the initial occupation of Baghdad, Iraq, Nuzzo left military service in Honolulu, Hawaii. There he completed his training as an FAA-licensed airline transport pilot and flight instructor and flew for several inter-island cargo and passenger operators, including Federal Express. He holds several aircraft type rating licenses.
Since then, Nuzzo worked in the startup of several aviation corporations as a jet aircraft pilot and aviation legal advisor.
Today, he continues to specialize in transportation law and teaches continuing legal education classes in Pennsylvania to attorneys, judges and real estate professionals. He has authored several courses on the legal aspects of aviation enterprises as well as the law of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations.
Nuzzo is admitted to practice before the several courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
He is the only son of longtime Bradford residents Alfred and Anneke Nuzzo who now reside in Martinsburg, W.Va.
