Ridgway man found dead in home

RIDGWAY — An Elk County man was found dead in his home Saturday morning, in what police are calling a natural death.

At 10:52 a.m. Saturday, Ridgway-based state police were dispatched to a home on Hayes Road in Fox Township in response to Randall Paul Rieder being found dead inside the home. Elk County Coroner Michele Muccio determined the cause of death as an apparent heart attack.

Police said the matter is under investigation.
