‘Walk for Doc’ hike set

SMETHPORT — Potato Creek Trail Association in Smethport is holding the annual “Walk for Doc” hike along the beautiful Shawmut Trail at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Dr. Douglas Bowman was an early trails supporter and encouraged walking for fitness. This walk honors his memory.

All are welcome to attend the next business meeting at 6 p.m. June 21 at the Island Pavilion in Hamlin Lake Park.
