KANE — A Bradford couple is facing allegations they assaulted a man early Saturday morning at a gravel pit in Lafayette Township.
Criminal charges have been filed against Joshua Goodmote-Miller, 20, of 26 Brennan St., and Kylie Jo McLaughlin, 22, of 43 Lake Circle Drive, in the office of District Judge David Engman.
According to court records, around 2 a.m. Saturday, at the gravel pit on Sand Road, Miller and Jedidiah Hardy were in an argument, which turned physical when Miller pushed Hardy and assaulted him until he fell to the ground.
McLaughlin — Miller’s girlfriend — kicked Hardy in the head, while Miller repeatedly kicked and struck Hardy in the head, court records stated.
Court records indicate that Hardy went to Bradford Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for a fractured right orbital bone, a fractured nose and lacerations.
Miller and McLaughlin each face charges of aggravated assault under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, both first-degree felonies; simple assault, a second-degree felony; and harassment, a summary charge, according to court records.
Court records indicate the pair was not yet arraigned on the allegations as of press time on Wednesday.
