COUDERSPORT — A Roulette man is facing allegations that he assaulted a woman and put two children in danger while the four were riding in a vehicle in Pike Township.
According to Coudersport-based state police, Bruce Albert Tucker, 45, of Roulette struck a 29-year-old Roulette woman in the face several times while she was driving along Loucks Mills Road with her two children, who were in the back seat.
Also, Tucker allegedly smashed the rear window with a rock, took her wallet and phone and hid from state police, police reported.
Tucker is charged with theft by unlawful taking, a third-degree felony; terroristic threats and endangering the welfare of children, both first-degree misdemeanors; simple assault and resisting arrest, both second-degree misdemeanors; and harassment and criminal mischief, both summary charges, court records stated.
He was arraigned Saturday before District Judge Kari McCleaft and committed to Potter County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
