SMETHPORT — A Buffalo, N.Y., woman was arrested on allegations she was involved in a disturbance Friday evening outside Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Rachael Marie Jamison, 24, of 87 Ross Ave., was arraigned Friday before District Judge William Todd on charges of resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
According to court records, at 7:17 p.m. Friday, Bradford City Police were dispatched to BRMC for a report of an 11-person disturbance. On scene, a hospital employee pointed out Jamison and said she was involved, explaining that she was allegedly yelling and swearing in the emergency room and waiting room.
An officer tried to talk to Jamison, but she was upset and uncooperative, then she allegedly pulled away and began to scream when he subsequently tried to arrest her for disorderly conduct. A second officer assisted, trying to help calm her down, but she continued to resist, court records stated.
Jamison was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, and she is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
