WARREN — A forest landowners’ workshop called “Working in Your Woods, a Bird’s Eye View” is scheduled for June in Bradford.
The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 9 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 10, both in the university room at University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
The first day will include indoor sessions with expert speakers, while the second day will include outdoor sessions and practical applications.
There is no fee for registration and free lunches are provided each day.

The workshop will describe a variety of techniques to create healthy forests and help wildlife, financial incentives and programs available to landowners, opportunities to benefit a wide variety of bird species including ruffed grouse, scarlet tanager, wild turkey, cerulean warbler and American woodcock.
