OLEAN, N.Y. — Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy is hosting a cultural fair and open house from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on May 19.
The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature music and art demonstrations by students, presentations by the Walsh’s foreign exchange students, cultural organizations from the Olean area, and organized athletic events and competitions for children. Cultural organizations from the area include the African American Center for Cultural Development, the Seneca Nation of Indians, and local religious organizations. There will be cultural ethnic dishes to sample throughout the evening and an ice cream social hosted by the STCS/Walsh PTA from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
