DUKE CENTER –– It might be a bit of an understatement to say Otto-Eldred’s Chase Sebastian had a solid day at the ballpark.
Sebastian struck out three and walked four, while also belting two home runs to lead the Terrors (10-3) to a 9-6 win over Coudersport (9-6) Thursday in Northern Allegheny baseball league action.
Sebastian smacked a first-inning grand slam to cap a five-run first for the Terrors. His third inning two-run shot put the Terrors ahead 8-2 before Coudersport got three runs back in the top of the seventh.
Chase Sebastian had an outstanding game,” Otto-Eldred coach Jame Thomas said. “He pitched very well. He did it on offense also. It’s nice to see him break out.”
Chris Connelly and Andrew Sheeler relieved Sebastian to preserve the win, while Sheeler was 2-for-3 at the plate for the Terrors, which play at Northern Potter Saturday.
For Coudersport, Elliot Hyte was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while Blake Burgett and Eli Ayers were each 2-for-3. Kullen Crosby, Colby Vanwhy and Burgett combined in the mound loss for the Falcons.
